Speaker of Parliament Rt Hon Rebecca Alitwala Kadaga on Monday (16th.November.2020) commissioned Buluya Health Centre II, St. Andrew’s Primary school and Lwanyama Technical Institute, all in Kamuli district.
The Speaker commended UEGCL for contributing towards the development of the health and education sectors.
She said that whilst the community in Buluya had requested for only a maternity ward, it was generous of UEGCL to build wards for children, men and women.
She also encouraged the heads of the institutions of learning (St. Andrew’s Primary School & Lwanyama Technical Institute) to ensure improved performance of learners since the facilities have new classroom blocks, including staff quarters.
