The youngest Presidential aspirant John Katumba has been turned away by electoral commission at the nomination venue on Monday 2nd for not providing the proof of payment of shs20 million nomination fees.

John Kakumba, the 24-year-old and the youngest presidential aspirant however claimed that there are no Banks around Kyambogo University though he carried hard cash.

Kakumba though was was turned away and informed that he may still stand a chance to be nominated on Tuesday 3rd November 2020 if he is to go back with proof of payment.

On the other hand, He did not also have a Tax Identification Number (TIN) as part of the requirements for nomination as a presidential candidate.

His troubles was spotted on earlier when his car’s tyre turn him down at Spear Motors junction along Jinja Road and was forced to run to the nominations grounds to beat time.
