Police in Soroti have arrested four suspects on allegations of theft of money from a student of Forest College, Mukono.

Its alleged that the thugs lured the student into exchanging Uganda Shillings into United States Dollar deal .

The student one Okurut Solomon invested Shs 2,130,000 in the business but later realized that he had been defrauded and reported to Police.
Police setup check points in strategic places and thugs were intercepted at Awoja bridge along Mbale -Soroti highway.

Police recovered from the suspects 88 leaflets of 1USD worth Shs 321,200. The suspects are Wamono Cyprian 34 years, Makanya Fred 40 years, Edigu Emma 29 years, and Namakola Ssalim 46 years.

Police is still looking for one suspect who escaped and has been Identified only by one Musa.
